Design Approach of a Wideband Non-Uniformly Spaced Linear Array Based on Reinforcement Learning to Suppress Multiple Interference Signals

In this paper, we present a novel design approach for wideband non-uniformly spaced linear array (NUSLA) to suppress the effect of interference signals. Notably, uniform (ULA), which is easy handle, widely utilized generate nulls over wide band; however, its beamforming performance limited owing ULA structure. Although NUSLA with nonlinear spacing addresses problems that are difficult handle mathematically, it can exhibit improvements surpassing those structures. However, an additional constraint required at specific position, and has not yet been studied null generation using NUSLA. propose cost function designing NUSLA, generates desired utilize modified reinforcement learning algorithm (MORELA), heuristic optimization based on (RL), minimize proposed analyze optimized antenna weights. Further, compare MORELA RL existing algorithms via computer simulations.
